The Diana Initiative Overview
The Diana Initiative is a diversity-driven conference and community committed to helping all underrepresented people in Information Security. Since launching in 2016 it has grown from a small gathering into a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, organized and run by volunteers, funded by individual, corporate, and philanthropic donations.
After several years running a standalone conference alongside Hacker Summer Camp, The Diana Initiative now brings its programming into DEF CON itself: TDI @ DEF CON activities, a women, gender non-conforming, and non-binary meetup, and a Quiet Room — a library-vibes space where anyone can calm down and recharge, stocked with fidget toys and coloring pages.
